9/1/17 What a GREAT week of REACH interviews!! Thank you for your interest in REACH! We are excited to begin a new year with each and every one of you! Please sign up for REMIND (text to 81010, type "@bonura" in the message box, and send! Also, you may begin paying REACH dues of $25 online or to Mrs. Bonura. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 19th after school in the cafeteria to attend the mandatory REACH RETREAT from 3-5PM. This is the only mandatory event for the year. Please make every effort to attend.

REACH Christmas CELEBRATION!! Saturday, December 17th from 6-8PM at Live Oak Methodist Church! Our theme is WHITE CHRISTMAS! Wear white accented with red, green, and/or gold! You may bring a guest (sign your guest up with Mrs. Bonura).If you'd like to participate in our White Elephant game, bring a CREATIVE gift $10 or under.....NO GIFT CARDS!

11/1/2016 Reach Retreat MAKE UP: If you did not make it to the mandatory RETREAT, the make up day will be on Monday, November 7th at 1:30PM at the Watson library.
10/13/16 SAVE THE DATE! Annual REACH Halloween Party October 22nd from 4-6PM in the back gym. Please either RSVP through the web (click RSVP tab) or through REMIND. Come dressed up! We will have a costume contest.....prizes for the best dressed! We will also have Halloween desserts and games! Looking forward to great time!

10/12/16 REACH Dues are due this Friday, October 14th. REACH tshirt is included in dues and will be designed/ordered next week. In order to get a shirt, dues must be paid. If you need to make arrangements to pay, please see Mrs. Bonura.

1/26/2015 CONGRATULATIONS, LAUREN!! Lauren was selected as a recipient of the Louisiana Council for Exceptional Children (LA-CEC) Yes I Can! Award for 2015 in the area of Arts-Graphic Design. Lauren was honored on January 26 at the Louisiana Council for Exceptional Children Super Conference Awards Program at the CajunDome in Lafayette. Her portfolio will be submitted in October 2015 as a nominee to be awarded on the National level.

1/6/2015 Mrs. McRae has approved a REACH field trip to the Audobon Nature Institute on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 (we will leave the Audobon Nature Institute at 3:00PM and head back to LOH. You will need to be picked up around 4:30PM). The cost of entrance into the facility (Aquarium and Zoo) as well as chartering the bus will be $24.00 per person. However, if you have a TAYLOR/AUDUBON/NOMA SCHOLAR MEMBERSHIP CARD that allows unlimited FREE admission to the Audobon Nature Institute, the cost of the field trip will be $11.00. If you are interested in attending the REACH field trip, please see the following guidelines:
**When you RSVP, please indicate whether you have a membership card to Audobon Nature Institute**
You may not attend if your grades are not up to par. You must also have had good behavior. A list will be compiled of REACH students eligible to attend after receiving RSVP responses. The list of students will be sent to the faculty and administration so that approval may be obtained. After approval is obtained, the students that are eligible will be given a permission form to attend the trip. Money will be due NO LATER than Friday, January 16th.
Because the charter bus has a capacity of 55, it will be on a first come first serve basis. After RSVPing, you may pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Bonura in between classes.

8/30/2014 Game Night was so much fun! Line dancing, musical chairs, ships and sailors, karaoke entertainment, lots of laughs, and lots of eating! Thank you to the freshmen/new students that joined in on the fun tonight to get an idea of what REACH is all about. If you are interested in interviewing to be a part of the Reach Club, sign up on the REACH bulletin board beginning Tuesday, September 2nd.

6/30/2014 Our REACH summer event will be held on Friday, July 11th, from 11:00-3:00! Be sure to RSVP no later than July 9th (the sooner the better!). We will have to have a head count for the pizza!!
